SUNBURY — Ed Quiggle has announced his candidacy for Sunbury City Council.  Quiggle is currently a PennsylvaniaState Constable for Sunbury’s 9th ward, a position he was elected to in 2011.  He is asking voters to nominate him as a write-in candidate for city council, which is the how voters elected him for the constable position. Quiggle says he wants to run for city council because he believes Sunbury is heading in the wrong direction.  He adds that he will fight to cut unnecessary spending, cut taxes and protect constituents’ liberties.  SunburyCity Councilman Joe Bartello, who is running for Sunbury mayor, has endorsed Quiggle for city council.
