SUNBURY — Saturday was a banner day for veterans in the Sunbury area.  Sunbury Revitialization Incorporated and the City of Sunbury, unveiled another year of Hometown Veteran’s Banners in downtown Sunbury. The unveiling ceremony included veteran’s advocate John Deppen as the master of ceremonies and 94KX provided a compilation of patriot music to accompany the event. More information at www.sripa.com. At least five Pennsylvania state-owned universities are now allowing guns onto campus after students complained they weren’t permitted to pack their firearms, and a subsequent legal analysis by the state’s lawyers concluded that an outright ban on weapons was likely unconstitutional.
