  PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say an offensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers was stabbed twice during an attempted carjacking. Police said Saturday that 23-year-old Michael Adams told officers that three men confronted him shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday on the city’s South Side district. He said he didn’t have his keys with him and “the situation escalated,” and one man pointed the gun at his face while the other stabbed him twice before all three fled. Adams was reported in stable condition at UPMC Mercy after surgery for stab wounds to the abdomen and left forearm. Father sues son after Minuteman raid

MILTON — A day after federal officials raided Minuteman Environmental Services in Milton, the father of the owner of the business has filed a lawsuit against his son. The Daily Item reports Bob Bolus Sr. filed a civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act lawsuit against Brian Bolus.   Bolus Sr. claims Brian Bolus lied under oath in a March 2012 trial involving Bolus Sr. Bob Bolus was arrested in December of 2010 on charges he inflated an insurance claim involving his business Bolus Trucking. 7-year-old girl found safe in Shamokin

SHAMOKIN — A 7-year-old girl wandered from her home in Shamokin on Friday, but was found unharmed about 30 minutes later. The News Item reports the girl was found with a group of other children near Pearl and Spruce Streets just before 8 p.m. The girl told police she left home to walk to Sunbury to see a relative. The child was returned to her mother. Coal Township and Ralpho Township police assisted Shamokin Police in the Friday search. (Ali Stevens)
