RiverStage Community Theatre will be holding auditions in November for the second show of their 2013-14 season, Arthur Miller’s All My Sons. Auditions will be held at Barnes & Noble Bookstore, 400 Market Street, Lewisburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, and at the Union County Public Library, 255 Reitz Blvd, Lewisburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11. The show will be performed the weekend of February 21-23 at the Milton Area High School Performing Arts Center, directed by Jove Graham. For more information, visit www.riverstagetheatre.org. All My Sons by Arthur Miller (Death of a Salesman, The Crucible) is the story of two American families living in the Ohio suburbs at the end of World War II. During the war, Joe Keller and his partner Steve Deever ran a factory that was accused of selling defective airplane parts to the Army Air Force, but Joe went free while Steve went to prison. The story centers around this incident, the blossoming love of their children, Chris and Ann, and the mystery of the Kellers’ youngest son, a pilot reported MIA over the Pacific three years earlier. All My Sons is a powerful, electrifying character-driven story of family, guilt, patriotism, conscience, and love. The play requires 5 men, 4 women, and 1 pre-teen boy (ages 8-12 preferred). Interested actors may either audition session. Actors will be asked to read aloud from the script, and do not need to bring a prepared monologue but should bring a calendar with any schedule conflicts.
