Observatory Family Night, 7 to 9:30 p.m., Observatory (southern end of Bucknell campus near stadium). Singer/songwriter KJ Reimensnyder-Wagner will sing songs about stars and constellations; Bucknell professor Ned Ladd will present the interactive talk, “What’s a Constellation?”; children can make their own glow-in-the-dark constellations and participate in other star-studded craft activities. If skies are clear, the Observatory’s telescopes will be open for viewing the planet Jupiter, stars and constellations. This free event will be held rain or shine.

Ready for your self-made challenge? The Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority (BVRA) is excited to announce the First Annual Idita-Trail & Winter Challenge on Saturday, February 28th, 2015 at 9:30am on the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail (BVRT). The weekend before the actual 998-mile Iditarod Great Sled Race in Alaska, frosty paws and feet will compete to finish the entire 9 miles of the BVRT from Lewisburg to Mifflinburg, PA. Racers are permitted to walk, run, bike, or even snowshoe or ski in order to complete the challenge. The race is an all-weather event; the more snow and the colder the weather the better the challenge! Canine companions are welcomed, but not required. Pre-register by February 13th...

W&L Subaru will be having a Chicken BBQ on Saturday February 28th from 11:00am until sold out. Dinners are $8.00 and halves are $5.00. The barbeque is to support the W&L Subaru softball team and there effort to compete at the state tournament later this summer.

Oxymorons Improv Comedy Troupe come to The Grange Arts Center on March 28, 2015. The Oxymorons improv comedy troupe specializes in short games that keep shows fast-paced, funny and full of audience interaction. Our improv games, familiar to those who watched “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” are all about using audience suggestions to drive our show.That means no two shows are alike.
