MIDDLEBURG — A Mifflinburg woman has been released from the hospital, after a fatal motorcycle crash last week. According to a nursing supervisor at Geisinger Medical Center, 41-year-old Lorie Oberdorf has been discharged. She was listed in critical condition.
Oberdorf was the passenger on a motorcycle driven by 46-year-old Cole Rice of Mifflinburg, who was killed in the August 11 crash on Route 204. According to state police, the accident occured when 79-year-old Frederick Frost of Selinsgrove drifted into their path.
State police have been investigating the incident. They say the report is almost done and traffic violation citations could be filed within the next week. Troopers say Frost is not expected to face any serious charges, their investigation shows no negligence can be proven. (Codi Jade)
