32 students escape injury in bus accident

JACKSON TWP — Over two dozen elementary school students escaped injury after their bus was involved in an accident Monday morning.  The bus, driven by 45-year-old Kellie Herrold of Port Trevorton, was stopped at the intersection of Smalsh Barrick and Tame Deer Road in Jackson Township, Snyder County around 7:40a.m.  A vehicle driven by 18-year-old Grace Juliano of Winfield swiped the side of the school bus.  Juliano sustained a minor injury in the accident and will be cited for speeding.
