About 2 to 4 inches of snow falls overnight

SUNBURY – About 2 to 4 inches of snow fell overnight in the Central Susquehanna Valley, prompting a delayed opening for most area schools. Several minor accidents have been reported across the region, due to snow covered roads early this morning. PennDOT crews are out in full force plowing and salting area roads.

The snow may turn to sleet and freezing rain this morning according to Accuweather, so motorists are advised to use caution. A winter weather advisory remains in effect through 11 a.m. today. Snow delays and cancellations are posted online at www.wkok.com. (Ali Stevens)
