Area crash victims discharged from Geisinger
DANVILLE — Two people hurt in area accidents are now out of the hospital. According to Geisinger Medical Center, 84-year-old Darlis Garmin of Sunbury and 42-year-old Rex Reed of McClure were discharged Tuesday (yesterday).
Garmin was in serious condition after a car accident on Route 890 on April 5. She failed to yield to oncoming traffic and pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Reed was in fair condition following an ATV crash in MifflinCounty. That crash occured when Reed tried to outrun police while driving illegally on Shindle Road. He lost control of his ATV and crashed into a utility pole. He was not wearing a helmet. (Codi Jade)
