Beavertown man dies after he’s electrocuted
BANNERVILLE – A Beavertown man has died after coming in contact with a live high-voltage wire in West Beaver Township, Snyder County. The work accident happened Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. when 31-year-old Gerald Stoltzfus was working in a truck boom that struck a live wire. He was taken to Lewistown Hospital, but died in the emergency room. Stoltzfus was married and had two children.
