Bloomsburg man sentenced for deadly crash
BLOOMSBURG – A Bloomsburg man has been sentenced to 16 to 32 months in prison for a deadly crash on September 16th of 2012 along Ridge Road in Columbia County. The Press Enterprise reports 19-year-old Joseph Scott Rish admitted he was drunk when he struck 50-year-old Robert Mohr, who was walking his bicycle along the side of the road early in the morning.
Rish never stopped after the accident and was found by police hiding at a relatives home. On Friday in court, Rish apologized to the Mohr family as well as his own. (Ali Stevens)
