Business manager resigns in Lewisburg District
LEWISBURG – The Lewisburg Area School District has accepted the resignation of their business manager, who held the job for about 15 years. Ron Kabonick is leaving to pursue a new interests and his last day will be October 25th. Board members thanked Kabonick for working on the recent teacher’s contract and helping the district as a financial manager.
Also at the meeting last night, the board awarded a $99,500 contract to T-Ross Brothers Construction to replace the roof at the Donald Eichorn Middle School. And, ELA Associates has completed a study of the spadefoot toad on the Newman Farm Property, which is the site of the new high school project. The federally mandated study determined there were no concerns for the frog habitat. This will help clear the way for the new high school construction. (Ali Stevens)
