Chamber confirms presidents resignation

MILTON — The Central PA Chamber of Commerce has confirmed their president’s resignation.  Maria Culp reportedly left her position yesterday.  A press release sent Tuesday afternoon said “Ms. Culp resigned to pursue other opportunities.”

Board chair Lisa McManus is handling the situation.  She said, “We are thankful for Maria’s leadership over the past seven years as the Chamber has served its membership, offered new member benefits and achieved many new milestones… We wish Maria the best in the next phase of her career.”

In addition, a Thursday board meeting is scheduled, but is not open to the public.  McManus said, “Our board is committed to the economic growth and continuing the high quality of life we enjoy in the Valley, and Maria’s departure will not change that focus.”

Messages left for Culp have not yet been returned.  (Codi Jade)
