Chamber offers businesses important tips
SHAMOKIN DAM – The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted an impact series on Monday called “6 Steps to a Better Business”. The program was offered to chamber members and hosted by Doug Savidge from ActionCoach.
Savidge explained the seminar they presented. He said, “The intent is to help business owners build and maintain a better business. It’s been a tough couple of years economically and without question, small business is the backbone of our economy.”
Savidge explained, “This particular workshop shows businesses there is a model of six steps to follow to build a better business. It’s a lot of information in a very short period of time. They can take away at least two or three great ideas from this workshop and they can put them to work immediately in their business. We designed it so that it has an immediate impact.”
Several businesses attended the event on Monday including Ron Confer of ASET Solar in the Lewisburg area. Confer said, “I am here to try to pick up and learn more about business, how to schedule my time better, and be more profitable in the business.”
