Clausi defends his actions as a commissioner
SUNBURY – Northumberland County Commissioner Vinny Clausi had to defend his actions as a commissioner on WKOK’s On The Mark program after several callers contacted the talk show calling his behavior unprofessional and immature. Clausi said several times that calling him a “bully” is just an opinion and he will not change.
He said, “I was vocal from day one that I came into Northumberland County government. Sometimes I had to use the press to do what is right. I had to argue. I had to be vocal to get what’s right for the people of Northumberland County. I will continue to do that.”
Clausi also told WKOK’s Mark Lawrence he doesn’t plan on leaving the job of commissioner. He said, “I’m not going to retire. I am going to run again to prove to the people and the media I did the right job for the county. I want the county to go forward and not backwards and I’m going to run for another four years.”
