Danvilleschool board trying to expedite meetings

DANVILLE– TheDanvilleAreaSchool Districtschool board is trying to expedite their meetings. The Press-Enterprise says the board plans to make some changes to the way they do business and note that it could shorten the notoriously long sessions.

The board will reintroduce work sessions; make extensive use of electronic means to replace paperwork; place time limits on presentations; and require administrators to attend only when needed.

The newspaper says the Danville Area School Board reorganized this week, again selecting Allan Schappert as it’s president. David Weader will also serve as board vice president again.
