Flags lowered for State Representative
HARRISBURG — Following the death of a state representative, Governor Tom Corbett is asking for state flags to be lowered. In honor of State Representative Dick L. Hess, the governor asked that all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth facilities statewide should be lowered to half-staff immediately.
Hess passed away Friday at the age of 74. He was elected in 1987, representing Fulton County and portions of Bedford and Huntingdon Counties. Flags are to remain at half-staff through Hess’ services. (Codi Jade)
