MIDDLEBURG – A Beaver Springs man accused of providing drugs to a 14-year-old girl in exchange for sex has pleaded guilty to the charges against him. 22-year-old Robert Hannick Jr. will face a minimum of four to ten years in prison when he is sentenced. District Attorney Mike Piecuch says Hannick pleaded guilty to aggravated indecent assault and avoided trial by entering a guilty plea. He also will have to register as a Megan’s law sex offender.

The girl’s mother, 39-year-old Brandi Baumgardner has pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Baumgardner got her daughter hooked on drugs at the age of 12. Baumgardner is locked up in the Snyder County Prison and is scheduled for sentencing next Wednesday. (Ali Stevens)
