Lewisburg Arts Festival has something for all
LEWISBURG — Lewisburg is the place to be for art this weekend. The Lewisburg Arts Festival is all day Saturday all across town.
Chairperson Sara Kelley said this weekend has something for everyone. “This is a chance for you to see visual arts, performing arts, and participate in art,” she said. “It’s all for free on what looks to be a spectacular spring day in Lewisburg.”
The food is even getting artistic this year. Kelley said there will be more variety than ever before. “You can eat to your hearts content. You can eat really bad for you festival food. You can eat really really tasty healthy food. Our food chair is a nutritionist, so she’s been working really hard at getting much more diverse food. We also have a new area this year, and that is our artisanal food section,” Kelley said.
There will be over 125 artists, 3 performing stages, and interactive art. You can find a whole listing of event times and locations online at www.lewisburgartscouncil.com. Kelley was a guest on WKOK’s On The Mark program Thursday. You can hear that program online at WKOK.com. (Codi Jade)
