Lewisburg man arrested for online child porn

LEWISBURG – A Lewisburg man is one of 10 men arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography. 42-year-old Daniel Criswell is accused of exchanging sexually graphic digital photos of children , which were uncovered during an online sting that used file-sharing networks.

The Attorney General’s office says the investigation took a few months and 10 men from Pennsylvania were implicated, including Criswell. A search warrant was obtained for Criswell’s home on November 4th and a search of Criswell’s computer found 25 files of child pornography.

Criswell waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday. He is locked up in the Union County Prison on $30,000 bail. 49-year-old William Sheetz of Lewistown was another suspect in the case. (Ali Stevens)
