BEAVER SPRINGS –A Millerstown man is hospitalized in serious condition after a crash early Saturday morning in Snyder County.  State police say 54-year-old John Walter of Millerstown was driving north on Route 522 in Spring Township and lost control of his vehicle.

Walter struck an embankment and a utility pole and the vehicle traveled into a field.  Life Flight was called to the scene to transport Walter to Geisinger Medical Center where he remains in serious condition.  (Ali Stevens)
