Local girl in the national spotlight
UNDATED — You may recognize her from last year, and Sunday Kayla Kline of Mifflinburg got her second chance in the spotlight as one of the NFL’s Punt, Pass and Kick competition winners.
Kline was introduced during the NFC divisional playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks. She and her family traveled to Atlanta for the game.
This year, she came in first place in the girls’ 14-15-year-old category. Kline was also winner last year. The national competition includes punting, passing and kicking a football, combining the yardage for a final score. (Sara Bartlett)
