Man flashing women in Mount Carmel

MOUNT CARMEL — Police in Mount Carmel are busy watching surveillance videos today. According to the Mount Carmel Borough Police Department Facebook page, they are investigating two incidents of public lewdness. A man reportedly exposed himself to several women Monday night.

The first incident occured in the area of Fourth and Hickory Streets around 9:58p.m. The man exposed himself to a female who was walking in the area. Just 10 minutes later the man exposed himself to two females sitting on their porches in the 300 block of South Market Street. The man was then seen walking south on Market Street to Seventh Street and east on Seventh Street until he walked out of sight.

Victim’s believe it was the same man in both incidents. He is described as white, around 6′ to 6’2″, around 20-years-old wearing a hoodie and dark pants. All victims described him as having spiked hair. Anyone with information on the incident or who sees someone matching that description is asked to call Northumberland County 911 at 570-648-3868.

Police do not believe this is connected to an alleged incident last week where a woman reported being raped in a motel in the borough. The Mount Carmel Borough Police Department is asking folks to carry cell phones at night and call 911 if anything seems suspicious. (Codi Jade)
