Man injured after exiting moving vehicle

SHAMOKIN — A Coal Township man was taken to the hospital after he exited a moving vehicle in Northumberland County.  According to police, 25-year-old Christopher Powell was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Jessica Long of Coal Township.  The two allegedly had an argument before Powell opened the car door and exited the vehicle.

 

Powell had to be taken to Geisinger Medical Center by Life Flight.  He is currently listed in critical condition.  The incident happened around 11:00a.m. Monday morning on Upper Road in East Cameron Township.  State police in Stonington continue to investigate.  (Codi Jade)
