Noon crash injures two in Sunbury
SUNBURY — A Sunbury woman was injured in a NorthumberlandCounty crash today. According to police, the crash occured around noon when 84-year-old Darlis Garmin of Sunbury was attempting to make a left turn onto Route 890 from Kehres Road.
According to reports, Garmin failed to yeild to oncoming traffic after stopping at a stop sign. She pulled into the path of 39-year-old Jonathan Malick of Sunbury, as he was traveling down Route 890. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Garmin was transported to GeisingerMedicalCenter for injuries. Her condition is currently unknown. Malick suffered minor injuries but was not treated.
