Nurse charged with stealing credit card for shopping spree
DANVILLE — A Mifflinburg nurse is accused of stealing a credit card from a purse and going on a shopping spree. The Daily Item reports 40-year-old Stacy Rivera removed the card from the purse of an employee at a nursing home in Mahoning Township on December 18th. Police say Rivera was also working at the nursing home when the theft occured.
Rivera is accused of using the credit card at four stores in Snyder County, where she was seen on security cameras. She also made purchases at two stores in Union County, with a total of $3,001 spent. Rivera has been charged with access device fraud, identity theft and theft. (Ali Stevens)
