MIDDLEBURG — Police say they are investigating an active homicide in Middleburg. Selinsgrove State Police were called to 1542 Creek Road in Beaver Township, Snyder County around 4:00 Sunday morning. 71-year-old Bonnie Jean Snook was pronounced dead.  Her husband Dale Snook is in serious condition at Geisinger Medical Center.

Milton State Police trooper Matt Burrows tells us they did take a person of interest into custody and that person is being held in Snyder County Prison on a state parole violation.
