I-80 slow for several hours following crash

LIMESTONEVILLE – One lane of I-80  was closed for most of the day Friday at the scene of a truck crash in Northumberland County.  The right lane and shoulder were closed at mile marker 214 near the Limestoneville exit. According to PennDOT, cleanup operations  backed up for several miles.  The lane was expected to open  around 6:00p.m.

The crash happened around 11:00p.m. Thursday night when a tractor trailer went off the highway and landed in a ditch. The driver, 63-year-old Paul Oraschin of Frenchtown, New Jersey was taken to Geisinger Medical Center with moderate injuries. He will be cited for careless driving. (Codi Jade/Ali Stevens)
