Patience a must for Thanksgiving travel

SUNBURY — WKOK is getting reports of heavy traffic conditions across The Valley.  Traffic is moving slower than usual, particularly on Route 11 from Selinsgrove to Northumberland.  Be patient during your commute.   AAA Mid-Atlantic expects more than 1.6 million Pennsylvanians to travel 50 miles or more between Wednesday and Sunday.  According to The Associated Press, state police will be watching motorists to make sure they stay safe with measures including sobriety checkpoints and speed traps. Thanksgiving Eve is known to be a very social night, so remember to be mindful of others on the roadway, and do not drink and drive.  (Codi Jade)
