Pedestrian hit by car in parking lot

SHAMOKIN DAM — Police are looking for the suspect in a Wal-Mart parking lot hit and run on Tuesday.   According to State Police in Selinsgrove, a 36-year-old Middleburg man was walking through the parking lot in Shamokin Dam around 4:15p.m. when he was hit by a car.

 

The vehicle was attempting to back out of a parking spot as the man was walking by.  The rear of the vehicle struck him, causing minor injuries.  The suspected operator then waved the man to pass through, and drove away.   The investigation continues.  Anyone with information should contact State Police in Selinsgrove.  (Codi Jade)
