Prosecutors to discuss Sandusky, Paterno on Showtime Wednesday

STATE COLLEGE — The assistant state attorney general who prosecuted Jerry Sandusky will be featured on a special Showtime program Wednesday night.  Chief Deputy Attorney General Frank Fina is expected to discuss his view that Joe Paterno was not involved in the alleged cover-up at Penn-State.

The interview will air at 10:00p.m. Wednesday on “60 Minutes Sports” on Showtime.

According to the Centre Daily Times, during the interview Fina was asked whether he thought Paterno played a role in concealing the abuse allegations, and he answered, “I do not… I did not find that evidence.”

Fina was interviewed along with co-prosecutor Joseph E. McGettigan III.  They reportedly were asked to reflect on their experiences from the case at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.  You can watch that interview on Showtime Wednesday at 10:00p.m.  (Codi Jade)
