Ribbon cut on a new school in Selinsgrove
SELINSGROVE – The ribbon has been cut to celebrate the grand opening of a new school in Selinsgrove. New Story is a special school that helps children with serious and complex behavioral and educational challenges.
New Story is located at the former Jackson-Penn Elementary School along Route 204. According to superintendent Chad Cohrs, the Selinsgrove Area School District is leasing the building to New Story. The current lease is for 2 years at $80,000 per year.
State Representative Fred Keller and Snyder County Commissioner Joe Kantz took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony along with the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce.
