Route 225 crash victim released from Geisinger
DORNSIFE – A Shamokin man seriously injured in a crash Saturday afternoon on Route 225 near Dornsife has been released from the hospital. 58-year-old Michael Farrow was flown to Geisinger Medical Center after the crash at Sunshine Road in Little Mahanoy Township around 1:30 p.m.
State police say Farrow was a passenger in a vehicle that veered off the road into an embankment and rolled over. He was hospitalized on Saturday and then released on Sunday. The driver of the vehicle, 33-year-old Randall Walters of Shamokin, was not injured.
Another passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to Geisinger Medical Center by ambulance. He has not been identified due to his age. (Ali Stevens)
