Salvation Army says thank you
SUNBURY – Thanks to the very generous contribution from donators, the Needy Family Fund has reached and exceeded its $75,000 goal. Major Sharon Cupp of the Sunbury Salvation Army says they appreciate all of the help and support.
“We know that as we see people who come through our doors that are in need that we are there to help them make the holidays brighter. From the Salvation Army in both Milton and Sunbury, we are very grateful.”
Last week, the Salvation Army in Sunbury and Milton distributed toys, clothes, and food to those in need. “We will have helped some 600 people by the time it is over with,” says Cupp. The Milton Salvation Army helped hundreds of families as well. (Sara Bartlett)
