Selinsgrove man charged in pizza shop burglary

SELINSGROVE — A Selinsgrove man is in jail after breaking into a local pizza shop.  22-year-old George Botticher was arrested after breaking into the restaurant at the corner of Fisher and App   Road in Monroe Township around 1:15a.m. Thursday.

Selinsgrove State Police say Botticher entered the business through a side window.  He then ran into a person inside of the business who reportedly detained Botticher until police arrived.  Botticher admitted to breaking into the business both that day and the day before, where he stole money.

He is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property.  Botticher is in Snyder County Prison on $100,000 bail. (Sara Bartlett)
