Selinsgrove plane crash injures two
SELINSGROVE — Two men who were involved in a plane crash at the Penn Valley Airport near Selinsgrove Friday have been identified. Reports say Doug Cromley, of Lewisburg, was piloting the Piper Pacer plane that took a nose-dive into the runway during takeoff. Cromley and his passenger, Todd Cromley of Winfield, were taken to Geisinger Medical Center where a nursing supervisor reports Doug to be in serious condition, and Todd in fair condition, as of Sunday morning. The crash happen around 2:30 p.m. Friday and the small plane was heavily damaged. An investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration or the National Transportation Safety Board is pending.
