Several Valley residents in critical condition

DANVILLE — Several Valley residents, hurt in traffic mishaps recently, are still in intensive care at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. All three are still in critical condition:

  • 32-year-old Patricia Brandt of Montandon was injured in a motorcycle accident two weeks ago near Sunbury. Police say a car pulled out in front of her as she was riding on Route 890.
  • Stanley Newberry, age 72, of Sunbury, is still critical after an accident on Mile Hill Road near Sunbury, April 15. His car went off the road and overturned during a heavy rain.
  • 50-year-old Daniel Kantz of Mount Pleasant Mills was involved in a collision with a farm implement on Aqueduct Hollow Road, in Snyder County. That crash happened April 17. \
