Shooting suspect arrested in Lewisburg
LEWISBURG — A Williamsport man was arrested in Lewisburg on Saturday, on charges that he shot his father on March 12. According to the Patriot News, 18-year-old Jeremy A. Drummond was recognized when police stopped the car he was a passenger in for a traffic violation. Drummond was then returned to Williamsport to be arraigned.
He was charged with of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person. Drummond is accused of shooting his father in the abdomen in a Williamsport alley on March 12. His father is listed in fair condition at Geisinger Medical Center. Drummond’s bail is set at $350,000.
