Small games of chance seminar in Sunbury
SUNBURY – A special seminar on the new state law requirements regarding small games of chance will be held this week in Sunbury. The seminar is open to the public and is hosted by State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver at the Sunbury Social Club on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Others attending the seminar include Todd Merlina, an enforcement officer of the Bureau of Liquor Enforcement’s auditing and gambling enforcement unit, who will lead the presentation. Also Northumberland and Snyder County’s treasurers will be in attendance along with the District Attorney’s from Northumberland and Snyder county.
The seminar is about two-hours long and will feature a question and answer session. All officers, trustees and committee members who are responsible for complying with the rules and regulation of operating local small games of chance are encouraged to attend. (Ali Stevens)
