Some flood advisories are posted in The Valley

SUNBURY — The heavy rains overnight and those in the forecast today, have the National Weather Service posting some advisories. The weather service posted an Urban and Small Stream Flood Watch for all of The Valley. The 1 to 2 inches of rain expected mean the region is likely to experience minor flooding issues today. Ponding of water is likely along roads.

A Flood Watch is up for Snyder, Juniata, and Mifflin Counties where 2 to 4 inches of rain is forecast. Residents in low lying and flood prone area should keep an eye out for possible high water in the hours and days ahead. No major flooding is expected. Residents in the Juniata Valley should pay particular attention to future advisories.
