Stabbing victim’s condition improves

photoMIDDLEBURG – A Middleburg man stabbed by his grandson has been upgraded to fair condition at Geisinger Medical Center.  Dale Snook sustained injuries to his arm and was taken to the hospital in serious condition early Sunday morning.  Meanwhile, his grandson, Joshua Snook remains locked up in Snyder County Prison on a parole violation.

Police say Joshua Snook and his wife Jennifer Snook were involved in the incident along Creek Road where Dale Snook’s wife Bonnie Snook was stabbed to death.  Joshua Snook is expected to face more charges according to Snyder County District Attorney Michael Piecuch.  Jennifer Snook faces burglary and theft charges and has a preliminary hearing Thursday morning.
