State police at Milton still investigating a homicide
MILTON – “No news,” is the update from state police today, on the homicide of Patricia Thomas of Turbot Township, Northumberland County. Contacted by WKOK, trooper Matt Burrows, a spokesman for the state police at Milton told us, there is no update on the case and no time frame for further action is available.
Trooper Burrows said they are methodically investigating what happened in the Thomas home the Saturday morning of April 14. He said the investigators have no further comment on the case. Patricia Thomas was shot and killed, and the case is considered a homicide.
Initially, the report was that an intruder entered the home, that Patricia Thomas was shot and Robert Thomas was beaten. Later troopers disclosed that no intruder was involved, but beyond that—they did not disclose what might have happened in the home.
