MILLMONT – The only storm related injury in The Valley this week happened Thursday morning when a driver ran into a downed tree. Troopers say it was a Millmont woman who was hurt after hitting a tree that had fallen onto Creek Road in Hartley Township, Union County.

State police say 73-year-old Judith Blair struck the tree in the road with her car yesterday morning and traveled off the side of the road.  The vehicle went down a small embankment.  Blair was taken to Evangelical Community Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.  She was transferred to Geisinger, but her condition is not known.
