Sunbury man sentenced for city stabbing

SUNBURY — A Sunbury man has been sentenced to 1 to 3 years in state prison for stabbing another man in the city.  27-year-old Troy Bennick pleaded guilty to stabbing 27-year-old Daniel Feese of Sunbury during an argument over a woman at an apartment on Arch Street.

Police say Bennick and Feese had been drinking on November 5th, when Bennick stabbed Feese in the head and abdomen.  Benneick was charged with felony aggravated assault for the incident.  In addition to his prison sentence, he must write a letter of apology to Feese.  (Ali Stevens)
