Sunbury to receive storm water system grant
SUNBURY – Sunbury is about to get a boost for storm water system improvements. The U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration is planning to give the City of Sunbury a grant of nearly $800,000 for the improvement of its storm water system.
Congressman Lou Barletta (R-11, Hazleton) is planning to make the announce Friday morning during a press conference at Sunbury Textile Mills. The improvements to the storm system should help alleviate problems with flooding and protect businesses and jobs. Barletta will be joined by local officials and representatives of other elected federal offices at Sunbury Textile Mills at 10:30a.m. on Friday. (Codi Jade)
