SU makes Princeton list too
SELINSGROVE — Another local University made the Princeton Review — and this school is proud of it. Susquehanna University made the list of “Most Popular Study Abroad” programs in the nation.
SU is ranked fifth for their Global Opportunities program. The “GO” program guarantees that all Susquehanna students will spend at least two weeks off campus immersed in a culture different from their own. They can choose from among more than 100 GO options around the world. Their time away is followed by a critical reflection course on the experience when they return to campus.
The Princeton Review’s rankings are based on surveys and comments by 130,000 students attending the colleges profiled in the book. Susquehanna University is also named as one of “The Best 379 Colleges” and one of “The Best Northeastern Schools.” It was also named to the book’s Fire Safety Honor Roll, and has appeared in the Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” guide for more than 10 years.
Bucknell University also made the Princeton Review, as ninth on the list of “Party Schools.” (Codi Jade)
