Middleburg teen biker hit by car


MIDDLEBURG — A unidentified 15-year-old Middleburg boy was taken to Geisinger Medical Center after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. State police say the boy, who was not identified, was riding his bike on Furnace Road at Willow Avenue in Middleburg around noon Friday when he drove through a stop sign and was hit by a motorist from McClure.


The boy was thrown onto the hood of the car and then landed on the roadway. He was transported by ambulance to Geisinger for treatment of moderate injuries. The driver of the car was not injured and was not cited for the accident. (Ali Stevens)
