Trevorton Fall Festival full of fun
TREVORTON – A whole lot of fun will be packed into one small town this weekend. According to event coordinator Cristie Stiely, the Trevorton Fall Festival will be enjoyable for everyone.
“Trevorton is a small town and this event is really big this year. We are going to have over 50 vendors. Everyone in town is so friendly and everybody is so excited,” she said. “We’ll have black-kettle bean soup and chicken quarters. If you bring a lawn chair you can sit down and enjoy the entertainment all day, or you can walk around. Hopefully we’ll have great weather that day!”
The festival will start with a fall parade through town at 11:00a.m. Following the parade, folks can head to the Trevorton recreation area, known as “The Foundry,” for the start of the festival. A free outdoor fitness and Zumba class will start at 12:00p.m., and live music will begin at 1:00p.m.
Stiely talked about what else folks can look forward to, “We have over 52 vendors, which include a photo booth, games for the kids, several different food vendors, craft and jewelry vendors, live entertainment, baked goods, crocheting, a pie baking contest and Mostly Mutts will be there. There is just such a variety of things for people to do all day long and we hope lots of people come out.”
The Trevorton Fall Festival will be Saturday from 12:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Everyone is invited to the free event. (Codi Jade)
