Two arrested during a DUI checkpoint

MILTON – State police continue to use DUI checkpoints as a way to crack down on drunk drivers, and they held one this past weekend–and arrested two suspected drunk drivers. The check point was held Friday night, during the busy holiday travel time.

Troopers from Milton, Selinsgrove and Stonington worked together on the checkpoint held along Route 45 in  West Chillisquaque Township and released the details today. They tell us about 145 vehicles were stopped, four drivers had been drinking prior to driving and two drivers were arrested for DUI.  Citations were also handed out for summary violations.
