Two in custody following Middleburg homicide

MIDDLEBURG – Two people are in custody following a Middleburg homicide.  A Snyder County Prison official confirms Joshua Snook and Jennifer Snook are inmates there.

According to WNEP, Joshua Snook is the victim’s grandson.  He is locked up on a state parole violation.  His wife, Jennifer, is charged with “conspiracy to commit criminal homicide” and weapons charges.

The District Attorney has said Joshua Snook had an altercation with a man from Sunbury, before he and Jennifer went to his grandparent’s house to get a gun to “kill the man from Sunbury.”  The DA did not say what happened inside the Snook house.

Milton State Police say they were called to the incident along Creek Road in Middleburg around 4:00a.m. Sunday.  71-year-old Bonnie Snook was killed.  Her husband Dale Snook was injured and is listed in serious condition at GeisingerMedicalCenter. (Sara Bartlett)
